Our Story: From a Grassroots Idea to a Beacon of Hopet services

Founded by volunteers in 2018, Joyview Child Network (JCN) started with a simple yet powerful belief: every child deserves a chance to build a better future. We’ve grown from a small community initiative into a trusted platform dedicated to empowering young lives in Kakuma and Turkana through education, protection, and opportunity

I was so worried about my son’s future. He was struggling in school and had lost his passion for learning. Then we found JCN’s tutoring and mentorship program. The volunteers didn’t just help him with his studies; they helped him believe in himself again. Now, he loves going to school, and I see a new hope in his eyes. JCN gave him a reason to dream

Before JCN, I never thought I could be good at anything outside of school. I joined their talent development program, and they helped me discover my love for art. The classes gave me a safe place to express myself and meet new friends who are also artists. JCN showed me that my passion matters and that I have a talent that can take me far.
