Education & Training

Through our Education & Training program, we aim to break the cycle of poverty by providing essential academic and mentorship support that helps children stay in school and excel. We offer focused Tutoring & Remedial Classes to help students master challenging subjects and improve their grades, while our provision of School Kits & Resources ensures they have the vital learning materials they need to succeed. Furthermore, our Mentorship Programs connect students with caring guides who not only help them build confidence but also inspire them to pursue their goals and achieve their full potential.

Sports, Culture & Talent

We believe every child has a unique gift, which is why our Sports, Culture & Talent program provides a safe and creative space for young people to discover their passions. Through this initiative, we offer sports clubs like football and volleyball to promote physical health and teamwork, arts and culture workshops in music and dance to preserve heritage and encourage self-expression, and digital skills training to prepare them for a globalized world. This holistic approach helps them build confidence and develop crucial life skills like leadership and collaboration.

At Joyview Child Network, we are deeply committed to creating a secure and nurturing environment for every child. Our program focuses on promoting child rights, preventing abuse, and ensuring children have a safe space to grow. We achieve this through direct action, including educating communities on child protection laws, establishing safe centers where children can feel secure and receive counseling, and holding regular community dialogues with parents and local leaders to address and prevent critical issues like child labor and early marriage

Gender Equity & Women Engagement

Dedicated to ensuring gender equity, our program empowers girls and women to become leaders in their communities by providing them with crucial resources and support. We offer girl-child mentorship to help young women navigate adolescence and stay in school, and we provide essential menstrual hygiene support and education to ensure they can attend class without interruption. Additionally, we empower women through skills training and support groups within our Women's Economic Groups, helping them achieve financial independence and build a brighter future.

Environment & Climate Change

At Joyview Child Network, we're training the next generation of environmental stewards through our comprehensive program. We teach children and youth the importance of protecting their environment and building a sustainable future. Our initiatives include organizing community-wide tree planting events to combat deforestation, running environmental awareness campaigns to educate on waste management and renewable energy, and helping establish school gardens to teach students about agriculture and food sustainability.

Food Security & Nutrition

Through our Food Security & Nutrition program, our goal is to build a resilient community where no child goes to bed hungry. We focus on two key areas: promoting climate-smart agriculture, teaching families sustainable farming techniques to grow food in arid conditions, and providing nutrition workshops to train families on healthy eating habits. Additionally, we run community feeding programs to support vulnerable families with food aid, ensuring children receive the vital nutrition they need to thrive. This comprehensive approach empowers our community to achieve lasting food security.

Job Placement & Youth Empowerment

We bridge the gap between education and employment by equipping young people with the skills and training they need to become self-reliant. Our program offers hands-on vocational skills training in fields like tailoring, carpentry, and digital marketing. We also provide essential job readiness workshops on resume building and interview skills, and we actively connect our trained youth with potential employers and internship opportunities to help them secure a stable income and a brighter future.

Behavior Change & Advocacy

Our Behavior Change & Advocacy program tackles critical social issues to protect children's well-being and build a healthier community. Through targeted, community-based campaigns, we actively work to prevent drug abuse by educating youth on its dangers. We also champion the rights of girls by advocating against early marriage, ensuring they have the opportunity to pursue their education and enjoy their childhood. Furthermore, we facilitate peacebuilding initiatives and community dialogues to foster reconciliation and harmony among different groups, ultimately promoting a culture of peace and health for everyone.
